As a new owner I am discovering new tricks about the X5's operation every day. But while I am under the impression that the direct select buttons can be programmed for six selections EACH for Nav, Telephone, and Radio, I've only succeeded in getting a total of six. For example, I've ended up with button one representing my home address for nav purposes and the other five covering radio stations. Is this how it's supposed to work rather than having six direct selections for each of these functions, i.e., a total of eighteen?
I welcome enlightenment and direction how to do it right!

Yep, James is right, 6 Total. I wish I could set the buttons to menu shortcuts like "FM Presets"

Ok, just six then. But is this per driver, i.e., per key fob, or a grand total of six no matter how many keys are separately programmed?

So, the set-up for driver "A" can be completely different then the set-up for driver "B"...as long as they use different fobs. |

European cars have the 3 extra buttons that are blank in the US

Thanks all. You've succeeded in putting me "in the know." Wish I could get such definitive answers to all my other questions....
