4.8i Monaco Blue/Aero/21" (more pics added)

Firstly, I'd like to complement Drex, PNG, MotorDavid and all the numerous other folks that have made this site so good. It has been and continues to be a fantastic place where we can all meet, and exchange knowledge on numerous subjects.

I`ve upgraded from an E53 and was heartbroken saying goodbye to her. Also, I was leaving a manual transmission and getting the dreaded auto tranny (which I seem to associate with older more mature people!). The car is specced almost the same as the last one, except no active steering nor vented seats. I chose the excl and tech package, and then added too many extras, a few include HUD, CC, adaptive headlights, storage pack, comfort access, light pack, logic 7, and 21" 215s. Well, the SAV has been great so far, engine is responsive, overall it appears bigger than it is, and as expected is pretty hungry for gas. Comfort access is fantastic, and the I-Drive is quick to master. The comfort seats are superior to the sport seats in my opnion, while the climate comfort windscreen does not seem as effective as in the previous model. The pano roof and adaptive headlights are as in the E53 great. Washing the car seems to be easier, is it cause the doors are now not metal .?... and cleaning the mags is also simple with the 21" allowing ample handspace.

I`m posting a couple of shots, enjoy the series.

Cheers,

In the US, You lose the spare if you get the 3rd row seat option. I believe in some countries, no spare with or w/o 3rd row.
