No audio notification when doors lock?

When I lock the car I hear 2 beeps when unlocking the doors, but I don't hear anything when I lock the doors. I checked the iDrive menue and ensured that the check box is checked for audio notification. Anyone else experiencing this?

Settting Confirmation Signals

Or Menu > Settings > Vehicle / Tires > Door Locks > Confirmation

The only time I noticed that was when one of the doors was not completely shut.

i get that sometimes.
sometimes it beeps and sometimes it doesn't.

This was exactly it. Apparently I didn't shut one of my rear passenger doors completely.

You know what's weird with this is I did not get a chime before I got out of the car that one of the door was open. Maybe it will only do that when you put the gear in drive.

That's how I found out that one of the doors was not closed properly. As soon as I put the car into drive, an audio alert started and in the dash a display lit up showing which door it was.
