Race edition is louder than sports. But its not a Ferrari exhaust.

I never liked those wheels, but in matte black they are amazing. You know how to mod a car that is for sure!!!

I don't know how it will sound but I went for the Sport version as I did for my M6. I love the Eisenmann Sports on my M6 so I figure it will be OK on the X5 as well. I'm just looking for a better growl on the V8 and they told me at Eisenmann (exhaust was still in development when I ordered it) that this was exactly what they are working on. We will see.

I am jsut about to trade the 335 in for an M5. love the 335 so I am scared, but M5
The M6 is the best car I've ever owned. It is a super car for every day use. Don't hesitate and trade the 335 for the M5 immediately. You will enter into a different (and very addictive) world. You will certainly be able to use the M5 as a daily driver. As a matter of fact, you will do nothing else but find excuses to take it our for spin.

PS: I notice that you've put down a deposit for the E92 M3 convertible. Have you driven the new M3 coupe yet? Great car but doesn't come close to the M5/M6 IMO.

They always come up with the 5% number but to be honest, I doubt it you gain 5%. I haven't sensed a noticeable difference on my M6 but soundwise ... my God that thing now sounds like a Ferrari. I was videotaped the other day by two carfanatics and they put it on YouTube. Mind you, I was just driving away from a parkingspot and didn't even go over 3,000 rmp. The party starts at 3,000 rmp and goes up to 8,250 rpm which makes the car scream like an F1.

In other words: I'm just replacing the exhaust for the sound. The HP gain is secondary to me.

Oh, here is the link to the YouTube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG91y1MYYSM

Thanks. I think this package will look OK once it is finished but we will have to wait till December 07 to see the result. Remember, we have to wait and wait in Europe before the ordered car arrives.

THanks M, I have not driven it and I do not have a deposit on it anymore, forgot to change that. I don't think it would satisfy my needs, the M5 is for the size more then anything....well...you know. I jsut cant configure it the way I want it I don't think, can you get and individual in the US?
