Two small bugs

Guys, I've encountered two bugs in the E70, which are mildly annoying - anyone else experienced these:
  1. Sometimes the iDrive loses all my stored radio stations - only takes a few minutes to get them back, but it would be better if it didn't. Not a key memory issue as I only use the one key.
  2. The memory buttons don't always work properly. When I push button 3 (programmed for Dark Side of the Moon) - I get the first track on the cd (my CD contains about 12 albums with mp3s).

Don't tell me to get an iPod to solve the second issue!

2. This will only go to the source, not a specific track so this is working correctly

Funny how buttons 1 and 2 go to a specific track then!

Nope - the button actually works - it brings up the screen saying it is searching for "Dark Side" and then starts "Piper at The Gates of Dawn"......there's a PF thing going on here.

Checked out mine and worked it out. Your post above helped my thinking. Thanks X5FX.

If you are listening to a track on say CD1, and press a shortcut button to go to a track on CD2 - on the first push of the shortcut it changes the source to CD2/folder 1/track1, if you press a second time it goes directly to the desired track.

If you are already using the same source (i.e. going from track on CD1/folder x to a track on CD1/folder y) then it goes directly to the track.

Now I understand the mechanism, I can see the sense in it, but it wouldn't have taken much of a change to make it work properly.

Just picked up my X5...been at the dealer for 10 days now.

Here is what my ticket says about the "Button 3" issue:
-------------------------------------------------------------
"Button works fine. Dont know if customer is talking about some thing other than what I am looking at or not"
-------------------------------------------------------------

WOW...What a FUC**NG IDIOT. When you push the button NOTHING HAPPENS!!! What did he think I was talking about. Unfortunatly I didnt notice this till after I left. There is even a SIB that discusses this problem!

apparently it only works if you have mp3s or wma files on the cd.
