Unhappy It's nonsense...!!!

I made $2000 deposit in the end of July for 2008 X5 4.8i.(I know that was really early) so that I could have my x5 as soon as possible when 2008 model is available.
At that time, I was expecting the auto tailgate option might be available for 2008 model so I wrote every option including automatic tailgate(except 3rd row and entertainment).
Then… I was waiting until the official announcement for 2008 was released….
I checked “X5world”everyday every night.. I’ve been looking forward to hearing about the official price list. Then suddenly, this morning my dealer called me and my new X5 is in production.
What the heck…
The official price list isn’t come out but they start producing???? It’s nonsense…
And I’m now really worrying about whether my new X5 is delivered with the same options as 2007 model has with higher price(some members saying there’ll be new headrest and soft-close door option but I might not have those options).

im the same situation .. i placed the deposit in the beginning of july for the 2008 model !! however my dealer told me that my car will be an "august production" so i guess that means it will the same as the 2007 except with the new model name "2008" ..

if your dealer told you that your car i in production now then i guess you will have the 2008 because my car went into production in august and thats realistic because they will have to ship it to the middle east !!

Ah, FYI, 2008 models begin production in the fall of 2007. Hence why you can find 2004 X5's built in 2003.
