Late 07 vs Early 08

Does anyone have any thoughts on if there will be any significant difference between a late build 07 and an early build 08 as far as software updates, bug fixes etc? Or is it the case that they are essentially using all the same components in the parts bin etc and just labeling the product as an 08?

I'm assuming the late 07 build will have software rev 27.1 which was loaded in my E70 recently. It seem to have fixed known problems like DVD player, steering wheel memory etc.

I haven't noticed any problems so far, keeping my fingers crossed.

My 2007 was delivered in very late August 2007, and it still has intermitant steering wheel lowering issues, as well as the 6FL dropping to FM issue. It does not have the split screen PDC/rear camera view, so I'm very doubtful that it has the 27.1 update as described in that other thread....other than abysmal MPG, and a weird "low windsheild washer warning light (when it is totally filled), the trucks been pretty good so far.
On a good note, my R.E.S works fine so far, and my AC blows hard and cold , even with the rear climate on. Camera quality sux at night though...thought I heard someone post this has been improved recently as well...
