I'm also curious if the Vizualogic Active Headrest system works with the Comfort Seats? I'd really like a solution that doesn't force me to remove the Comfort Seat head rest.

Does the Invision work with the Comfort Seats? Have you seen the Invision, if you have how is the quality?

I do not see an application on the Visualogic site for the Comfort Seat headrests...??? Did you see it somewhere. I have seen the Invision system in person and the screen image looks good, but the fit and finish looks substandard in my opinion. Corners look wrinkled and buckled and the headrests look huge. I too am looking for an alternative to the factory installed system. I may have to unwantingly go with the Invision as last resort. I can say that I have heard only great things about Invision's customer service, top notch.

Thanks for the info Denalio, I really like the look of the Vizualogic, but like you said customer service for Invision is top notch. I have e-mailed Vizualogic several times and no reply back yet, but I'll keep you posted. Does the Invision system monitors tilt? I belive the Vizualogic does not, you can only adjust the headrest, but the screen themselves do not. The headrest you saw, was it for the BMW X5? Do you know if they use the same size headrest on the application of the vehicle?

I believe they do tilt downward. It was for the X5. The headrests look like the "regular" headrest for the X5 maybe a bit bigger. I also believe that the Invision allows you to keep the power up and down function of the headrest. Lawrence from Invision could tell you. I was also looking at the BMW DVD Advance system. What I was thinking is buying the trim kit only and fitting my own screen into them, sort of retrofitting my own system. Not sure what I'll do. What do you think of that idea?

Thanks, I am familiar with the "marketing speak" of this system. We need to find a suitable system that will not eliminate the Comfort seat headrests and pillows. $1795.00 seems very high in my opinion for this system. I think I could get the DVD Advance system trim kit for $400.00 and retrofit a top quality screen in them such as a Pioneer or such and still be well below the $1795.00 probably even throw in a aftermarket DVD changer or just wire it to the existing DVD player. The only advantage I can see with the Invision system is that you get two independent DVD players in each headrest, not a big issue for me though. I had a panasonic LS82 portable player attached using their headrest bracket but the screen vibrated to much while driving. If I could find a solid bracket for the headrest I would look for another portable DVD player. Philips has portable DVD with bracket, but the headrest posts are too thick for the bracket.

Denalio: For me, I would prefer the headrest instead of the DVD Advance System, why....1) It looks like it takes up space. You may hit the screens going in and out, especially having kids. 2) It does not look that professional to me, but that's my opinion and not to offend anyone. 3) A bit expensive for that price, I'll go with some custom installed Alpine, Clarion, etc. if I was going to pay that much.

nynd: Thanks for the picture, is that your vehicle? Would you happen to know what leather they use, Nevada or Napa?

I agree. I would not buy the DVD Advance system. I would just buy the trim kit and buy a Pioneer, Alpine screen and fit it in.

Hey Denalio,

I was just wondering if you have any other pictures of your vehicle? I am interested to see, your ride looks really nice, especially the picture your currently using.

I also tried PMing you, but it says currently full, what else modifications do you plan to do to your vehicle?

Thank you in advance.
