Production only takes a day. However, you don't know when your X5 was due to begin. It could be 8th in line or 1008th in line. It would then take a few days to get to the US port then several weeks to arrive in the Middle East. I would look for it as an early Christmas present.

cmyX6go will become famous soon enough
I think it's time you pay the dealer a visit. People come here to have questions answered but your questions are ones the dealer can answer, not us. You said you put a deposit and ordered one. Did he write up the order? Get a copy, ask what options you have coming, get the production or tracking number and you can go online and track it through. Good luck.

If I were you, I'd demand a delivery date. They can call HQ or someone that can give some information, right?

I thought it takes about 2 weeks to get through production. So for US Customer, Northeast, if production day is OCT 10, what do you think is a conservative estimate of when I will get it? The dealer thinks end of OCT, but I can't rationalize that.

Thanks

I think only the dealer can answer your questions .. is demand so high in Dubai that the dealer thinks it reasonable to not give you the information you need ?
