Hi All,

What's the mechanical advantages of a 08 over the 07's on the 3.0si?

Thanks

X-drive & MPG and anything else that's known. I sure wish BMW would put out a press release.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the same exact car, engine, hp, mileage etc. except for different options and from what I hear is actually less, price wise.

The 08's could be running on a different software revision by the time they get out of production, therefore addressing most bugs that 07 owners experienced.

as far as i know, none. you're still stuck with an inline 6 more equipped to power an accord, camry, altima type vehicle than a 6000lbs behemonth SUV

I think you´re not right here when say no changes, there are quite a bunch of changes:

- Efficient Dynamics added giving you more mileage per gallon and
reducing CO2 emission
- active headrests standard on all seats
- new software
- low resitance tyres reducing drag and fuel consumption

that´s what I remember now, maybe there is more...

so long

Any chance of these upgrades are only for Europe 08 and not anywhere else? Just like the auto-tailgate only for the US 08 and not anywhere else?

US models receive these enhancements as well. Canada also has the auto tailgate.
