probably, the 335 motor...not a big stretch to put that in the X5.
What page did Roundel have that on?

Just a one liner on page 32 of October issue "The 2008 X5 will be available with the N54 300-horsepower three-liter twin-turbo engine." It also talks in inset for X6 on same page saying engine line-up for X6 will be similar to X5 with N54 TT and 420 hp V8 for X6. But Roundel is not always right, so wait and see.

^ I do wonder how accurate this information is - do they get it from NA rep interviews because I thought this forum's members already had the scoop on most things first. Isn't that magazine written by club members - sorta like fans like us here.

I have no idea why they would NOT put the 335 motor into the x5 instead of the 3.0. Makes no sense, bmw puts the motor into the tiny 135 but NOT the 6000lbs x5?
