There are some parts of the world where you need to have 24 hour armed security for your X

i dunno, I don't buy it. they have it on a bunch of bricks. If i was stealing them, i'd just leave it on the ground.

It all makes sence, to take the jack and use it on next wheel, you would need to lower the car... Brick is the easiest to free your jack.. I wouldnt see it any other way. (there is no ground clearance)

I lost 4 wheels on one of my cars years ago.. car was parked on the street outside our house... They left the cheap jack behind.. yes bricks wre used.... in some cases if the tyres are not too low profile it is easy to chock the bricks under the car, let the tires down and remove without a jack... I presume this car did not have wheel locks ?

gosh...i thought they stopped jacking cars up!!

this was a technique used years ago by common street thugs...

back then they only took what they could sell right on the spot... (usually wheels and radio)

I lost my wheels, my radio, and mirrors from my first car years ago (1970 Chevelle SS)

and these ghetto knuckleheads would show up a few days later trying to sell you the same sh%^*# you just lost!!

freakin unbelievable!!

now it's much more sophisticated...here they just steal the entire vehicle, take it to some indoor garage where it gets "chopped" up and the parts sold to local parts stores, dealerships, ebay, or whoever needs them!!

you never get to see the car again!!

and they make 10 times more money than the car is worth!!

it's major here!!

wow.. I guess its possible but I thought my E70 had a "tilt sensor" so when it gets jacked up or tilted in effort to toe it without permission it went off like crazy. At least thats what the manual says,, isn't it??

I don't know about these photos, they don't make sense. Looking at the 2nd photo, it looked like the car was moved or it was not on the original location. What did they do, moved the car to another location just to steal the wheels?

This is a daily thing here in South Central or East L.A. if you're stupid enough to leave a brand new X5 on the street. But at least you will find your car in the same exact spot where you left it, if the home boys are just interested with the wheels. Other wise, the car will be chopped into pieces and you will never see it again.

Didnt get it, what's the point to steal those wheels if there are probably only few cars like that in Estonia and you can't sell it except back to the same owner. I would love to get those 214's, hey folks post them on eBay
