Window Tinting / Brush Guard

I have a space gray/black X5 4.8 with all of the packages and options (fully loaded). I'd like to tint the front windows, but the rear windows already look tinted with more of a reflective tint than most other cars.

Has anyone tinted the front windows or both sets to match? I'd love to see some pictures or get any suggestions.

In addition, I had the undercarriage protection installed as well as the brush guard on the front - looks great. I'd be happy to post some pictures if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like.

Thanks...

If you do a search through the forum for window tint you will find tons of pics. I tinted my X5 with 40% front passenger, 30% over the factory privacy glass. Factory privacy glass is at 35%.

35% front windshield and 20% the rest of the windows (that is also on top of factory privacy glass).

i honestly never really did the film tint.... was always worried about it peeling off, looking cheap, or getting caught on the power windows... any issues with them? did it hold up over time?

I'm thinking about doing to same when my delivery arrives... not sure about %.... 30 up front sounds about right... anything darker and i'll probably get pulled over...

any pics on the tints??

the fronts don't look like they have tint... is that 30%??...

ebay sells an e70 tint kit for all five windows... specially cut to fit each window... now i'm thinking about it!

is that grey interior?.. looks pretty nice!! did you also consider the black??

how did they compare??

I had mine tinted all 35% o a Space Grey but I didn't get the rear climate control so they were all untinted when I picked it up. Search my posts and you will find pictures I posted when I first had them tinted.

I used a Nikon 10.5mm. It was a new toy that I was dying to try out!
