just to get the record straight.if i buy 20"tires non run flat

and style 214 wheels for my 3.0 non sport and have a 3rd row will there be space for a spare 20" tire/wheel or can i go smaller in this situation? also, would you guys go with the run flats or regular tires if there is room for a spare?? im thinking of ordering tomorrow.. thanks

someone correct me if I'm wrong...but 3rd row seating eliminates the spare and more importantly the space to store that spare... the seats fold down into that space!

you can swap out the RFTs.. but i believe no sport pkg = no fender flares..

but some heare have non-sport and 20" wheels.. and it looks fine without the flares..

i'm swapping out my stock wheels for 214s and aftermarket, non RFTs (michelin latitude tour all seasons)

if you're getting aftermarket wheels make sure you get the TPMS sensors with them... otherwise you'll get errors msgs on the screen.

That is correct 3RD Row = No Spare

If you go with non RFT with 3rd row seat, you will need a spare and will end up storing it in the trunk.

so i guess your not worried about no spare or is it that u dont have the 3 rd row.. also when i spoke to tirerack they told me they also have the tire sensors.. should i buy these from there or bmw? tirerack doesnt offer insurance for the rft's tires...damn, im not sure what to do now.. go with regular tires w/ sensors and no spare or rft's????? do u know if the dealer would sell me the rft's tires w/ insurance?

a full size 20" spare will not fit in the wheel well. Nor will a standard 19 or 18 or even 17". The wheel well is not deep enough.
