self leveling rear suspension with 3rd row

Does anyone know or have opinion if the Self Leveling makes the suspension stiffer or more 'buick' like as it comes with the 3rd row seat in the 3.0.....we test drove one with 3rd row and it seemed stiffer.

as it comes standard on 4.8 it would suggest that all things being equal the self leveling rear suspension would give a slightly stiffer ride ...any comments are appreciated.

I test drove the one without the 3rd row and I currently have the 3rd row. I don't feel any difference or "stiffness" what so ever. The ride is great.

self leveling has nothing to do with stiffness.... it simply makes sure the rear is 'level' based on the interior weight....

the adaptive drive system and/or sport package is perhaps what you're thinking of regarding the stiff/or not stiff suspension.
