The vertical lines are definitely more prominent than mine. Do you have either the TV or Sirius option? Perhaps the antenae is included in the rear window heater element.

I tinted the back and rear with 30% tint. I went over to a BMW dealer that had about 50 X's CPO's and new 07's on lot and quite a few looke liked that. We keep the tint on for a week and then decide if i want to take it off. The Demons in me say take it off or trade in for 08. Thanks OCD with X5

I think it needs to be darker!! maybe 20...

Yes, Mistake is my rear deforster destroyed now and BMW warranty

Hey Tropics, are you saying your defroster is now broken due to the back window tint causing it to overheat?

No, not at all, I was just venting cause i did not get the rear climate package and had to tint the back and am seccond guessing it cause It looks a little differnt and the fact the tint went over the rear deforster and wondering what will happen if I have to take it off cause there is glare at night but another poster said I need to wait a month for the entire tint to dry. Thanks.

so your asking if you should tint the car.
if you have tint on it in the picutre, it needs to be darker.
if you dont, it needs it.
