does the 3rd row option requires leather?

Hi,
I have a quick question here,
I remember I saw somewhere that the 3rd row option requires the selection of leather.
However I tried to build my X5 on bmwusa.com, and was able to select the 3rd row without leather. So can someone confrim this for me ?
THanks

No, it does not require leather. The 3rd row will be leather whatever you select though.

Just to be clear. The "optional 3rd row seats are upholstered in Nevada leather" whether you are ordering the 3.0si or 4.8i.

If you're building a 3.0si, check out this excellent link (until BMWNA gets their info updated properly):
