if i don't get running boards now, can I add them later??

I know that the running boards are a factory option now.... but i'm wondering... if I don't order them now... and I decide i want them later after I have the car for awhile.... can i have the dealer install them? would it be the same ones and how much might that cost?

thanks.

I heard it's $600 + labor....

Because without running board, you have a black plastic thing that also should cost something....

I guess the price difference between the running board and that plastic thing is $300, and in the factory, installing either takes the same labor, so that's why it's only $300 when ordered...

Correct me if someone else has better info...

You have them, the aluminum side steps with the little holes in them

I'd get them now. You can pm BMW Morristown and they'll give you a good price but you still have the labor to consider unless you're a DIY guy.
