Does anybody know what these things on my X5 are?

Hey, I called the parts department and asked what these plastic nuts/bolts sticking out of my lower grill were and the guy said he thought they were the parking sensors, but I think the parking sensors are actually located on the bumper. I don't think he knew what I was talking about. Does anybody know what the purpose of these things are? Thanks

Definitely parking sensors. The things on your bumper are parking sensors too.

Can somebody else confirm this though? I wanted to do some grill modifications but the sensors or whatever they are are preventing me from going forward

Well I think this messes up my plans... was going to show you all something new. Oh well... this mod is not for the X5 I guess.
