I'm not sure that messing with the seal integrity of the front headlamp housing would be wise. Because that's the only way I see that being possible, if you want it to come out decent.

1. Dude, why are you asking total strangers on a public forum if your dealer has already said he will do it?

2. In the event he hasn't said he can do it, WHY ASK "EVEN AT THE DEALER?" ?????

3. If your response is "Well I was wondering if the dealer can do it." then perhaps ask the dealer FIRST.

4. I am guessing Kuwaiti dealers will do a lot of things that BMW might not recommend and will basically then say "Hey, you wanted us to do it- it's your problem"

1. im asking to see peoples opinions and see anyone has done it before(if ur not willing to ask those total strangers why did u join the forum?)
2,3. my dealer says he can do alot of things then calls me in a couple of days and says its not doable so i said why not ask here people in this forum know alot more then people in dealers
4.yes they would do things bmw doesnt recommend but they wiill tell us that its not first only if we insist they do it
5. ur way of replying to " total strangers" is way to rude no one forced u to read this thread no one forced u to reply to it and if some1 did force u a gd reply is a yes or no

As for the OP, I believe once you mess with the integrity of the housing for the headlamps, you introduce elements like dirt and condensation to enter the housing, therefore reducing the life expectancy and possible affecting the light output.

But what if the dealer did it for you?
