The picture looked unusually sharp and beautiful, so I checked out too, and it's freaking $6,000 Canon EOS-1D!!

Man, are you a professional photographer, or just damn rich?

I could see painted reflectors becoming an issue with insurance if you were to get into an accident head-on or from the side. Not worth it if you put that in jeopardy IMO

While I could see you bring up a valid point, I dont see this happening at least havent heard of it.
There are plendy of people doing similar and more significant mods on e46fanatics.com site inclding changing headlights to HID without adding appropriate projectors to point the light in a more controlled way, people are also changing their HID to illegal 8000 and 10000 kelvin and I have yet to hear of insurance going after them.
I doubt that insurance company is going to look into these reflectors as a cause of an accident. You also wouldnt expect an owner of a classic car to ADD a reflector just because its the law. Many older cars dont even have them. Once the car is on the road, I doubt that insurance company really cares for it much.

I have comfort seats on my E70 and they are great!!! But this new headrest... I do not like it.
