how to install Alpine MP3 player
Hello everyone,
Has anyone tried installing an Alpine MP3 cd changer into 07 X5? I have Alpine MP3 cd changer and a Soundgate adapter that worked well in my 2004 X5, but found just one plug out of 2 needed at the back of the car. I also found an optical plug to plug in , I guess, an original BMW cd changer. Please, advise.

Dosen't the 07 already have a CD changer that plays MP3s?

It does have just a single one.
I have an Alpine MP3 player with Soundgate V5 from my 04 X5 and wanted to install it as well, but couldn't find an appropriate plugs. The onlt thing that I found were optical plugs. Does anybody have a blueprints or a diagram of wiring in X70, so I can look it up?

the CD changer is a glovebox-mounted 6-disc CD changer correct? Would yours fit there??
