Production & Delivery Time

Just got word today that my X will be going into production the last week of Dec. How long does production take? How long from completion to delivery in RI?

when did you place the order??

i placed my order exactly two weeks ago i was told by the hotline that it was a week 47 production... and it takes about two weeks going through the build process and then one week to you..

nothing noted on the owner's circle though....

I placed my order last Thursday. My salesperson emailed me yesterday with the production date of the last week in Dec. She also registered me with the owner circle today, but told me it takes 24-48 hours before I'll be able to login.

I ordered a 3.0, prem pkg, tech pkg, running boards, sat radio, ipod, cold weather pkg & HUD. It will be my first BMW

What are you getting?

I just checked my paperwork and i actually placed the order on Nov 6th... (gosh, it seemed much longer than that!)

i got a production number within days and already registered on the owner's circle... right now it still registers as "on order"

i called the hotline and was told it was being scheduled as a week 47 production.. which is next week....and it should take 2 weeks from that...

so i figure if they stick to that schedule i'll probably take delivery in mid Dec. (just in time for Christmas!! )

my sig has my order details... and i also have some mods on order too...(214s w/Michelin HPs, aerokit, oval exhaust tips, upgrade speaker system, Ipod docking cradle, and plenty of other misc items.....) can't wait!!!

Hello all, I'm a newbie here. I put my order in for a 2008 X5 3.0si last Wednesday 11/14. Thanks to this forum, I found out that I can track the production schedule online at the Owner's Circle site. Right now the status says its "Scheduled for Production" but it's already showing a VIN number. I can't wait ...
