Usual I hate any gold/copper/bronze colored cars until a few months ago on vacation, I rented a 328i and as I walked onto my lot space there sat this golden nugget and my wife and I just looked at eachother and both thought to ourselves.. "what the fu....". Automaticly we started trash talking about the color to eachother since this was the first time we both have seen a "platinum bronze" bmw. Either way we took the car even though the color made it seem so alien. Every time we would leave our hotel and the valet would bring us our car we could not stop refering it as a "golden nugget" everytime we were outside of the car looking at it, we could not stop talking about it. As the week started ridiculing this ugly duckling of a bmw, it ended with a appreciation of it as the week passed. The color really is beautiful when it sparkles in the sun, at night it seems dull and drab, but I guess it kind of grew on us. Although I would never buy any car with that color, I'll always remember how much we could not stop talking and looking at the car covered in platinum bronze in which we named the golden nugget :]
