Unhappy scratched glass

Had the X5 a whole day and had to park her out the front cause I was in the process of treating my new car to a new driveway then what happens is some dipshit throws a rock and hits the passenger side window, massive
scatches in the glass.Question: Is there a product that will buff out these
scatches?????

Jewler's rouge may be able to tackle it depending on how deep. It's not cheap but a lot less hassle than having to swap out the glass.

Be very carefull buffing the glass. If you use something to abrasive it may scratch the very thin coating on the outside of the glass.

I use #0000 or #00000 steel wool to polish my glass - if this makes you nervous, get some and give it a try on an older car or a window in your house first.

Use the steel wool and your favorite glass cleaner - I use Stoner's invisible glass.

Cheers,
KEF

You might want to try posting in the Detail Forum, Phil might be able to give you some ideas.

Could also try a local glass guy and have them take a look.

Remembered one more thing about the steel wool - you need to buy "oil free" - outherwise you'll have to clean that off the glass as well

The rule of thumb is, "if you can feel the depth of the scratch with your fingernail, it's too deep to buff out". If you somehow managed to buff out to the depth of a scratch that you could feel with your fingernail, your glass would now be distorted.
