Picked it up yesterday :) & Bluetooth/phone question

Now with pics (scroll down)

Hi All,

I picked up my new X5 3.0SD M Sport yesterday - only done 200 miles so far but absolutely love it! The weather turned rubbish on the drive home so it's already dirty but will post some pics once it's a little cleaner!

A quick question if I may...

I have paired my phone with the car via Bluetooth, and the functionality works well (i.e. I can make and receive calls) however, I have a very large number of entries in my mobile phonebook (3,000+ on a Windows Mobile device) and I'm noticing many of the phone book entries haven't transferred... Does anyone know if there is a limitation on the number of entries that can be transferred?

Thanks!

Justin

Thank you... yes, it's a fair few! I will definitely be using the 'top 8' functionality - just wish it was more than 8!!

I noticed a lot of my entries are under the "_" category. If they are not under their first letter where they should be, check there. Likely because of some entry anomoly in WM (I have a WM6 Titan). A lot of mine were for places like "Ginos Pizza" or "Blah Restaurant" or "Cosbys" and not actual people that you enter a first/last name for. I liked Palm OS' way more but I digress.

It must've taken a very long time to sync that. It took about 15 mins to sync mine and I have 175 entries.

Slightly off-topic, I just discovered PointUI for WM yesterday. Great if you like the iPhone finger-sliding interface, and free.

Hello,

Managed to take some pictures today - unfortunately it's been raining lots recently - so the pictures of a dirty car don't really do it justice - but here goes...

snap!

picked mine up on Friday, looks just the same but I kept the crome window surrounds and roof rails.

I have to say I love the carbon black, I had it on an M3 and it has looked fantastic in the sunshine this weekend.

From the look of your pictures, your X5 seems like it's been lowered substantially. Does the M package do that?

I think it's the 21" rims that makes it looked lower.

But the suspension could be different that the X5 with sports package
