I just got my 2008 x5 4.8i a week ago or so and I can't tell you how much I love this baby.
first of all, iDrive is great, I don't know why people hate this, it just takes a lil while to get used to but after you are done learning, you want to use the knob for everything. there's also independent buttons for the air, volume and basic things like that. interior is beautifull, stylish, not to overcramped with buttons (cough, cayenne)
