Sunglasses

Okay, this isn't the most important question, but I was curious, where do you put your sunglasses in your e70? My other cars have pretty much had a decent place for them, but I'm not seeing it with this car.

You're right that it's not an important question but it is one that I've spent more time thinking about than I would expect to have to Haven't found a good place yet --- they just sit on the closed ashtray.

Same here... Either some overhead clip or the cover of the ashtray...

Re the ashtray - such a waste of space in the car - 3 ash trays (we are non-smokers) ! I am thinking of a mod...

In the glove compartment. I don't keep them in the cup holder/ash tray area b/c I'll scratch them there.

The storage pockets are surprisingly poorly designed in the X5 - they are deep and long so hard to reach items and they slide around. My 740 has a hinged door pocket and big open one, which BMW should use in the X5 so that you can store items like sunglasses, etc.
