Do you pick up your cars in transportation wrappings???

I am very surprised that some of our members pick up new cars in transportation wrappings. It was new for me... Do you do the same???

No, but I ask the dealer not to wash the exterior of the car when black, if silver or light colored it is less critical.

Keith

Yes, I tell them to leave the plastic on. I do that at home as well. All of my furniture and carpets are wrapped in plastic LOL! It doesn't wear very well either...

Are you serious? You never remove the plastic off your furniture?

Seriously folks, my dealer wraps the driver's seat in plastic every time I take it in for service. They take it off before they bring it back.

I have given my dealer strict instructions NEVER to wash my car or clean the interior. They do put plastic inside when they service it. I took my car in last week and the cleanup guy that circle checks the car before service looking for chips and such (probably for dealer liability) I caught him rubbing down the front fender with his sleeve and licking his fingers and rubbing looking at something. I told him if he was hungry I'de buy him a Big Mac and asked not to do that. I think he got my point. Maybe I am an A$$, but I don't need some kid rubbing dirt into my 7 coats of Zaino.

I am not asking you, GoldenBoy I am asking normal x5world members, I don't have any questions about you and your wrapped car, your case is clear for me...
