When to expect my 2008 4.8?

I just got my production number today so now the wait begins! I couldnt believe how quickly I got the production number considering I put a deposit down on Sat and today being Mon already have the number that was never the case with my 2004 330ci! I was told I should expect the truck in the 3rd to 4th week of Jan does that sound about right any hopes it will come sooner? The specs are 2008 4.8 with Titanium silver/Black Nevada leather/Dark burl walnut trim with 1) Premium package, 2) Premium sound system, 3) Navigation, 4) Heated front seats, 5) Sport's package with 19's, 6) Rear Climate package, and 7) USB/i-pod port. I cant wait to take her out and not have to worry about pot holes like in my 330ci.

congrats! I just ordered mine on Friday and was given the production number 5 minutes after I got off the phone with the CA.

It really depends what production week your dealer has a slot in.... From the day production start, I'd say 2 weeks before it shows up at your dealer (it took almost 13 days for me, and I in NJ, so Ohio is probably a few days longer).

I ordered Saturday as well and they said I should get delivery anytime between Jan 15 and 25. I have yet to receive my production number though - I'm giving them till tomorrow like they suggested.

Mine went into production on Nov 23rd, completed production on Nov 30th, and was at the dealer on December 3rd. So, that should give you an idea when you should receive it after yours completes production. Oh, and by the way, it went into production almost two weeks ahead of schedule....

A lot of it depends on how many allocation spots the particular dealer has, and how much the dealer can push up production. If you have a good relationship with a dealer, sometimes they can push up production a bit. Otherwise, they may not bother to do so if they don't care about you as much or if you're a first timer.

Congrats!! Expect it in mid/early Jan if that is what they told you!!

My order was placed Oct. 12/13. So, it took almost 6 weeks to get the slot. Once it was there, it went there really quick...

Yeah this is my second purchase from my sales advisor so hopefully he pushes it up so I can try my X out in the snow! He said second or third week in January should be when it will be at the dealership but maybe sooner so we will see.

Mine was ridiculously quick. Ordered on Nov. 17, I believe... and it came on December 2. I had never expected that. Neither should you, haha.
