Finally got a deal done on a 2008 X5 4.8i...
Should be arriving by 12/31. Will post pics on arrival.

Congrats man....Should of gotten the auto tailgate though....
Just giving you a hard time...Post pics when you get it. I seriously thought about getting the same combo.

If I ordered from scratch, I would've got the auto tailgate, but this car was already built and ready to ship - hence the quick turnaround. It had all my other "must have" options - namely Nappa leather, HUD, comfort seats, active steering, HD radio - a somewhat rare combo, so I didn't make the auto tailgate a dealbreaker.
Hell, even a 10-day wait now seems long. I guess I'll enjoy the final days w/ my 545i while I've got it.

I completely understand. I almost broke down and took a Black/Black on the lot that had HUD, but no auto tailgate because I couldn't stand the wait. However, my wife REALLY wanted the auto tailgate...
I can't wait to see pics. Please post as soon as you get it. J
