3 problems with 07 X5 - Brake noise, fog light and hiz sound

I have owned a 07 X5 3.0 since November. I have noticed a few problems, and appointment with a local dealer is a month away. Try to seek help here.
1. A noise come out from front brakes when I press brake at low speed. Also a similar noise can be heard when I make a turn from a stop.
2. Fog light (two at the bottom of the front bumper): Both could be lit or be off. I just couldn't figure out what the regulation is. I may just need a bit education here. However, sometimes only the right one is lit while the left one is off. I think this is definitely a defect.
3. Whenever I use the remote key to lock or unlock doors, I can hear a hiz sound similar to "air release" sound in addition to a beep sound. I thought this was cool initially, but I searched in this forum, couldn't find anything related to this issue. Is this sound normal?

1. Maybe an accumulation of brake dust. Given them a good clean with a pressure washer.
2. That is the cornerering light function you are describing, it's normal.
3. There was a thread last week about this on this forum. We don't know what it is but everyone has it.
