Help in choosing interior Colour...
Hello I am ordering a 3.0sd in Platinum Bronze, I wanted the Tobacco Interior, but there are no Tobacco Interiors untill June, so I have to choose either, Camel, Saddle Brown or Beige...

I'm not sure what to do, maybe Saddle Brown, but will all that brown look a little...uh pooey??!!

Any suggestions?

The Saddle Brown is beautiful, and not at all like dirt. Do a search; a number of members have pics of their X5s with such an interior.

I realy do like the Saddle Brown and I am leaning that way, I'm just concerened at so much Brown with the exterior and interior..

Why not black? I have had good luck with BMW black interiors and think it would look good with the platinum.

Why no tobacco until June?

I just noticed you are in Australia so that is why you get a wider choice of interior colors.

I've gone black with my order

the saddle brown does look pretty good, my only gripe with it is that it's combined with black plastic for the seat trim. plenty of people happen to like that about it though

Seriously, because we ordered our 3.0sd also with Tobacco interior in oct. last year. And they promised us the delivery last week. However our delivery is now delayed to week 10 of '08. But I don't hope that we have to wait till june. Is anybody having the same problem?

The dealer told me today that there would be no production with Tobacco Interior until June 08....

I ordered mine in Oct as well and still havent had a confirmed build date!!!!

Ugh, you can't get black? I guess go with the beige.

I think we're gonna get in contact with the dealer again. Because they promised us that the car would go in production on week 4 I think, and then the delivery in week 10. When we ordered the car they were putting our order in a reservated production place. That might make a difference?
