Question Kit for X5 3.0d & 3.0sd

I wish to everyone a very happy new year!
Does anyone know which are the exact differences between 3.0d & 3.0sd ? I know about twin turbo but is there anything else ?
Is there available such a kit which will allow me to transform my 3.0d to an 3.0sd ... ????

ermm how about starting with the turbo ...

the only way you will achieve the sd performance is if you go down the route of a performance chip for the engine, to up the bhp as the SD is concidrably more powerfull than the standard d model ...

to be honest you are asking a pretty stupid question....

OK, maybe I do ! I was thinking that forums are for talking and chaI read somewhere that turbo is the only change and maybe the brakes. If so, why it would be difficult to be changed...?

I think it would be cheaper to trade in your 3.0d and buy a new 3.0sd.

not to mention finding someone capable of doin gthe job properly. No other manufacturers as yet offer the "in line" turbocharging that BMW does with it's twin turbo units so I assume it's quite difficult to do. And then there's the hole you blow in the residuals of the car by bolting a non OEM turbocharger onto the car....and also voiding the warranty.

Trade in definitely the way to go. Especially is you have a non ED 3.0d.
