On-line order status more up-to-date than 800 number?

Normally the 800 number is much more up-to-date than than the status in Owner's Circle. However, I checked both this morning and my order status from the 800 number was "in transit", while my order status from Owner's Circle was "at your BMW Center". I'm obviously happy that my X5 3.0si is in, but I thought it was odd that Owner's circle was more up-to-date.

mine's still "on order" online (since 12/18) but 800# says scheduled for prod. with no confirmed date yet.

when was the order made and what does it currently say on the web?

I'm getting antsy because 1/21 is my supposed build date according to the live person, which is 4 weeks after my order date... then it'll be another week before it even gets sent to my dealer... then I gotta wait for the aero kit install... it's killing me. Dealer promised me 1/15 - 1/25 the latest. I doubt it will even be out of South Carolina then.

My order was made on Dec 15th. The web still shows a staus of On order. Spoke with a rep at the 800# yesterday and was told that the vehicle was schedule for production Jan 18th but this morning when I called I was told that the production completion date is Jan 14th..

That's a huge discrepancy with mine then considering I ordered only 3 days after you. Your build is almost 2 weeks ahead.

EDIT>> I just spoke with someone again and I mistook "week 3" to be Jan. 21. It's actually next week (week of 1/13) if you look on a calendar as being the 3rd week of January. I multiplied by 7x3 instead of just looking on a damn calendar... haha. Sorry I'm a bit giddy now that it's so close.

I just checked and got the same exact response. I was told that once it's at the VPC, the phone doesn't track correctly. My dealer called me yesterday and told me it was on the truck and will be on the ground Wednesday morning. I'll wait to take delivery this weekend:p .....Phil

Turns out that Owner's Circle was wrong and that the 800 number is accurate. My CA told me that it should show up on the lot tomorrow.
