What am i doing wrong with the ipod
I have my ipod connected with the bmw cable part number 61 12 0 431 424 to the usb in the armrest every thing look fine on the idrive screen but i have no sound when the anything is playing through the ipod any ideas i have tried to different ipod both the same no sound any ideas ?

I'm not familiar with this part number, but is it the standard cable that come with the 6FL? If so, you need to plug in the AUX cable as well or you won't get sound. (I know it's dumb since the 40-pin iPod connector carries sound as well, but the standard 6FL requires the AUX to ALSO be plugged in)
