4 time acoustic confirmation on unlocking

Last night after stopping off at the fruit market for 3 minutes, I come back to the car and and hear the unusual 4 time acoustic confirmation instead of the usual dual. That got me puzzled and I came around the car to see if there was any damage or anyone tried to break in. Nothing was visible and everything seemed in order. I tried locking and ulocking again and heard the same 4 time confirmation each time I pressed lock or unlock button. I have failed to look at the clown nose untill I had started the car. The 4 time confirmation tones had gone away immediately after I had started the car so I continued home.

Does anyone know what that was? Has the alarm gone off?
I havent heard it at all and I was right across the street.

Did something inside the vehicle set it off? According to the manual there are ultrasonic sensors inside the overhead console. Just a guess

sounds like it was triggered... and it seems to be working properly (resetting when you turn on ignition)

next time it happens focus on the red indicator under the overhead rearview... it will flash a few times when you disarm..(to notify you the alarm was triggered)

wife's car does exact same thing....

i wouldn't worry about it....

Depending upon the sensitivity of the alarm, someone backing into your vehicle could bump it enough to set off the alarm, but not do any damage.
