Picked up My 3.0SD M-Sport

Hi Guys and Gals,

Picked up my new 3.0 SD last Friday, and I am absolutely loving it.

The weather has been very bad here the last few days so it’s looking rather dirty at the moment, so my pics are not great.

I only have 200KM on the clock so I am still getting used to it etc, but so far I love it.

The comfort seats are great, comfort access now works on all door handles (they only worked on the two front ones on my 320D), Auto Hold is great, High Beam assist is great, Auto bootlid is great, in fact almost everything is great.

The only thing I am disappointed with is the alarm – it’s volume is very low. I once owned a VW Golf which used the horn as the alarm, and when it went off it would wake the dead. On both my Bimmers the alarm sounds like a watch alarm – you would never hear it going off from inside your house.

The full spec on the X5 is

ZXP4 E70 X5 3.0sd M Sport M57 3.0

Nice spec....that has to be the highest spec car I've seen! Must have been a big cheque. No third row seating ?

I picked up my SD just before Christmas and love it. Think the Comfort Seats
are worth every single penny...much better than the sports seats in my mind.

Yeah, I wont be able to have a social life for a while - no money left

I didn't really need the 3rd row, and I was scared by the Active steering (I know people that really damaged their cars in carparks because of the changes in steering wheel response at low speeds).

The only thing I woul have liked to get was the Ventilated seats, but you cant get them with the Nappa Leather
