Smile Mileage difference

Hi,

I am new here and over the past few weeks that I have been watching this forum I am really amazed at the wealth of information that you guys have about the E70 and would like to thank you all for sharing it.

I am planning on buying an 08' X5 4.8i and was wondering if there is any difference in the mileage between having a 3rd row seat. I know that there should be some due to added weight of the seat but would like to know if someone has the numbers.

BTW I would not be ordering a 3rd row seat but just curious.

Thanks.

If there is, it would be so insignificant you wouldn'y even notice it.

The X5 is such a gas guzzler anyway that I can't imagine that it would make any difference worth noting...

It seems like the new X5 eats more gas than my 2004 4.4, is that true?
