Anybody tried snow cables on their 19" RFT *Updated Snow Pics*

I'm heading up to Mammoth Mountain this weekend and snow chains are being required. Anybody had any experience using snow cables on their 19" RFT? I just got myself a set of Super "Z" LT snow cables. This one seems to have a better rating than most snow cables for vehicles with low or limited clearance. Anyone had any problems using these things on their RFT? Any thoughts, comments will be greatly appreciated.

I bought the same but not enough snow here to try them out. I have not even pre fitted them yet.

Let us know what you decide and how they work out; long time argument between cables versus chains. I've got the 20's on my X5 that'll be here next week and I plan on hitting MM soon after! Our 328 was not happy with the ice at night coming down thru the village 3 weeks ago; and from what we've heard, the 20s are ridiculous in the snow.

Updated: Driving the X5 with Snow Cables

Just got back from Mammoth Mountain after braving the snow storm that dumped 2 to 3 feet of new snow during our stay. The Super "Z" LT cables worked great, it just took a minute to install and remove.

I drove the X5 from Mammoth Mountain Inn to town, plowing through 2-3 feet of fresh powder, without the snow cables and It was an awesome experience. It felt like driving a compact snow plow. This SAV is so well worth it under any conditions. I attached some pics with the X5 buried in the parking lot. Enjoy.
