The RX is almost half the price of the X5, so it's not really fair to say they're both in the same league to start with. I think the RX is a women's car. Lexus has sure sold a lot of them. I agree, it's not much fun to drive. They give RX 350's as loaners when I take my LS 460 in for service. This is the 5th Lexus I've owned. I've owned 3 BMW's and I'm waiting for the diesel X5... I will keep the LS 460, it doesn't do well in the snow.

Wait, what? The latest RX350 AWD starts at near $40k. The X5 3.0si starts at about $47k. I think they're pretty similar in price. The RX350 can be optioned pretty pricey too, especially given it's dated platform (back from 2003 I think). I do admit though, it is a hot seller.
