Yep ME

I've already had mine (08 reg) delivered directly to my local car audio dealer to have a tracker fitted also.
I had to go there to sign for the vehicle and coulndnt resist a sit inside. I was tempted to have a drive but was told that if I was caught before saturday by the Ol bill the DVLA will take the plates and Tax disk back with no refund, as well as the fine for driving without insurance - even though I had a certificate from 26th. and when I pay to get it re registered, it will be a '57' instead. so I refrained.
2 nights left and then I can drive it.

congrats guys, I took delivery of ours last Friday 57 reg used.
4.8iSE as can be seen here http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...mped-ship.html
Came out of an ML63 AMG and the X is by far the nicer car, less power obviously but as a package a far better car.
Adaptive drive makes the 21" feel like you are riding with 19" honestly it's that good.
I have a Sprintbooster going on the car tomorrow which should really bring the car to life.

The 3.0sd is supposedly a great engine, real life consumption figures though are disappointing if you read the forums averaging 24mpg.

I'm sure you will really enjoy the X, I know we are

congrats nwcs, i have resisted the lure of seeing it yet, i had the tracker people fit it at the dealership who by the way were great (compnay was called AMS, had the rac trackstar plus fitted for 249 +vat)

Love the spec siree's , how are you finding the beige interior, easy to keep clean? the only reason i didnt go for it was due to having a 18 month old son who now likes to kick the backs of the seats etc.. the wheels must be a mare to clean!

only one more day to go!

I picked the camel leather looks like dark cream for the seats top part of the door trim / handle and arm reast.
The rest is in black including the back of the seats for practical reasons and looks very effective.
I will post some piccies after the weekend.

one aspect of the sdm sport I'm disappointed with is the lack of sills - I don't mean running boards but the actual brushed alloy protective sills - like on the M5 as the 'M' logo on - it's just bare paint so if anybody can point me in the right direction of some protective sills with the OE look, that would be great!
