X5_2_OBX is on a distinguished road
Yakima Space Case?

Does anyone have experience with a Yakima Space Case on an E70 (or maybe even an E53)? We have one that's a few years old that we used on our Suburban and with the Suburban being so long, the length of the cartop was never an issue.

We're headed to the beach for Easter (see my username! ) and can't really get a new cartop before then. I'm just a bit concerned about whether or not the cartop is going to be too long for the X5. We usually put it a bit further back on the roof for aerodynamic purposes but if it hangs over the back, we're going to have issues opening the trunk. The cartop's dimensions are 92" x 31" x 15".

For comparison purposes, we put it on a 4Runner last summer and it was tolerable but did hang over the back a bit. Here it is on the Suburban:
