New X5 3.0...some questions??

Hi all,
I just picked up my 08 X5 3.0 Mineral Green/Back perf Nevada today....What a car!!! Big improvement over my 2004 X5. This is my first iDrive experience and I am starting to get a feel for it. I did have a couple of questions:

1) In the Settings Menu of the iDrive, there is a folder titled "maneuvrability aids" but the features are greyed out. Is this not available for the US market?? What exactly are these features??

2) My dealer said these models do not come with a flashlight in the glove compartment, like the older models, I this true?

BTW, I took advantage of the hue Feb. Sales stimulus and got this X5 with ALL options, except 3rd row seats and rear entertainment. It has active seats, CWP, PP, SP, auto tailgate, comfort access, premium sound, HD radio, Sat radio, iPod interface (6FL), running boards, rear heated seats, Tech package, Head UP, and Dark Bamboo....MSRP $67900. 36 month lease, 12kmiles/year $4308 drive off fees (no cap cost reduction) lease payment $835.25/month.

I will post pics. The color is gorgeous. Not having seen this in person, I would never had picked this color on my own. The only reason I picked it up was because it was a loaded car in the dealer inventory. But, when seeing this color in person, it is trully a unique and beautiful color. I will post pics soon.

Regards

RezF

Congrats. To answer your questions;

1.) PDC and Rear Camera
2.) That's correct, they were throwing in a battery operated torch for 2007 but it was discontinued.

On my US Spec 2008 X5 the maneuvering aids section is not grayed out. Also, because there is no glove box light built in, I was given a battery operated LED flashlight.

I got a small metal flashlight-about 4 inches long-with my 08 X5 I picked up last week in CA.
