Gremlins in the glovebox
Sometimes when my car is parked in the garage and I open the door (unlocked) the CD changer will cycle through all of the disks. Has this happened to anyone else?

Nope. Only issue I have is trying to play a DVD movie while the car is parked. It said in the manual that it will play the movie so long your car is in "P"; but never get it to play while i wait for my son to come out of school.

Yes, I am wondering if this has something to do with the high battery discharge as well.

I had this happen only when disconnecting & reconnecting the battery. Shouldn't happen otherwise...

I do not have the DVD changer, Just the CD. DOes anyone know if I can swap out the Cd for the DVD changer?

this happened to me regularly on my E61 (at least 2-3 times per month)
no clue as to why she did that
that's why i went with the USB jack in my X5 now

Yip, happens to me too. When opening the front door, CD changer startsb cycling (even if empty). But once it is through all 6 slot, it stops.
