Picking up my new baby tomorrow

Don't know if anyone else has been in production lately - but the time from order through delivery is unbelievable right now (at least on my 3.0si in the states). I placed the order on the 16th and was told 6-8 weeks. The car arrived last Tuesday while I was out of the country on vacation - so basically 2.5 weeks from order through delivery to the dealer.

Anyway, thanks again for all your help through the process - although the wait since finding out Saturday night that my car was here has been excrutiating to say the least. Although as my friend motordavid can appreciate, I'm not looking forward to passing over that kind of cash

I'll be posting pics after I get the tinting and the clearshield put on this friday.

I just got mine in 3 1/2 weeks. It would have been sooner, but i had the trailer hitch installed at the dealership.

if the X5's weren't being build in your 'back yard' you would know what the rest of the world thinks about the order to delivery time

I'd rather take the wait and get the bad-ass turbo diesels the rest of the world gets if that makes you feel any better.

I put down my deposit last september, might take delivery later this month or early april - but it's a 3.0sd

when you guys get them though, they'll be one of the cleanest diesels available due to urea injection, which is pretty cool
