Memory setting on Remote

Can someone help me with this issue.

I got 2008 X5 ....I set my seat/mirror/steering to memory.
But when i open with remote it's not going to saved memory postion.
I have to press the memory button on the side of the seat.

I did the settings in iDrive also.....

Any Idea....

Thank you

First question would be - are you using the same remote every time? Each of them have their own settings.

There is a setting, available via the iDrive, which defines whether or not you want your seat position 'restored' on unlock, start engine, etc.
