I'm sure they will make one, though it is utterly useless and provides nearly no gain in either MPG or HP

They let too much dirt in and can take out your mass air flow sensor. I would just stick with the factory filter.

Yes, a K&N doesn't improve performance, costs more, takes more maintenance, doesn't filter the air as well, and can mess-up the MAF with oil residue.
Very few stock engines Today are limited by air intake resrictions due to the air filter. As a result, a lower-restriction filter will do nothing unless you also open up the exhaust with a less restrictive exhaust system. |

I'd have to agree with everyone here. There are just too many problems that can arise with the K&N to offset the benefits of a few hp.
I'm keeping it stock. At least until any mods prove to provide substatial power to the 4.8.
