Yes that is a little overpriced, but it's not as easy as the upper grille to change. You need to remove the bumper, but it's not that difficult. 5 x 8mm screws holding the top, and 6 x 8mm screws and two phillips on the bottom. Then a little wiggling and pulling and it comes right off. Just be sure to unplug the PDC harness, otherwise you'll pull it off.
I went the other way, changed my titanium trim to black.

what do folks do with their old parts (mesh)? Maybe there is a swap meet? Going from black to titanium and going from titanium to black.... mesh-bay?

i've actually sold some of the older parts on this forum.. mud flaps, exhaust tips, etc..
sell it cheap and help a brother out!! place an ad and see what happens.... doesn't hurt.
