Whistle E70 X5 3.0Si TPM Malfunction Error

Hey guys!

I've decided to sit my X5 on 19" BMW rims the ones they fit on the 4.8i I got them from the official dealer in Moscow. Therefore they don't have support for TPM as USA X5 have being my whip I got brand new from USA to Moscow now crys at start up about TPM Malfunction.

I have too invest $400 more for those TPM gadgets to be installed on my Stock Euro Rims, I dont see the need to do so though I just wont to know is there an easy way to turn on the TPM Malfunction error?????

have you tried pushing the TPM button on the centre console as per the manual?

If that doesn't work then you need to spend the 400 bucks.

Disable TPM on US car?

So can you disable TPM on a US X5? There is no TPM button on the center console, and I can't figure out how to do this in iDrive.

I don't think you can disable it. It is a new Law I believe this is why they don't give the option.

If you have run flats - you need a TPM.

Cheers,

I have the same problem.
US made X5 with new Euro wheels installed without TPMs.
Did you manage to disable the TPM function or you had to get the sensors?
Pls let me know.

I never figured out how to get it disabled. I just got the TPMs for the wheels, and all is well.
